The UCSF Program for Interprofessional Practice and Education has launched the “Collaboration and Communication in Healthcare: Principles of Interprofessional Practice” channel on You Tube. This is the first course on interprofessional collaborative practice, and the course was designed by faculty and students from the health professions at UCSF.

Tina Brock, MS, EdD Associate Dean, Global Health & Educational Innovations, Professor of Clinical Pharmacy, was recently quoted in the International Pharmaceutical Federation Annual Report 2015, “As the number and complexity of treatments grow, it’s no longer possible for any one health provider — no matter how knowledgeable — to be able provide top quality care working in isolation.”

Debas Academy of Medical Educators, in collaboration with the UCSF Program in Interprofessional Education and the UCSF Library and Center for Knowledge Management, is pleased to announce the new Education Innovations Funding awards for the 2016-2017 academic year.  These intramural grants are expected to make significant contributions to educational excellence at UCSF.
