Angel Kuo, MSN, CPNP-PC has been named associate director of the Program for Interprofessional Practice and Education (PIPE). The PIPE associate director will work with the director to advance interprofessional educational initiatives at UCSF, including the expansion of interprofessional education into clinical settings.

Kuo is a clinical professor and vice chair in the Department of Family Health Care Nursing in the School of Nursing. She also serves as the pediatric nurse practitioner in the Pediatric Urology Clinic at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. Kuo has been involved with PIPE since 2012, developing the Core Principles of Interprofessional Practice curriculum with the interprofessional faculty group and serving as committee co-chair for the Curriculum committee. Kuo is passionate about interprofessional collaboration and looks forward to serving in the associate director capacity in this upcoming academic year.
